Radio One would like to thank you for your support and attending our  Minority Business Exchange held Wednesday evening at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum in downtown Baltimore. The turnout was overwhelming. A major thank you goes out to the Reginald F. Lewis Museum’s Executive Director Skipp Sanders, Sojourner-Douglass College, the business owners who attended, the wonderful Radio One staff, our amazing sponsors and Radio One Founder/CEO Cathy Hughes.

This event is a great opportunity for local business owners to network and to learn of resources that will aide in running a successful business. The evening’s topic was Succeeding Against The Odds. Dr. Charles Simmons of Sojourner-Douglass College served as the Keynote Speaker and closing remarks were presented by Cathy Hughes.

The Business of the Month (Eminence Award) was awarded to Sojourner Douglass College.

The Entrepreneur of the Month (APEX Award) recipient for February 2012 is Jayfus T. Doswell, Ph.D. of Juxtopia.
