L.A. Reid signed “X Factor performers Astro, Marcus Canty and Chris Rene to a record deal.
Rene performed his original song ” Young Homie” on the show. He recently released a streaming studio version of the song, ahead of its iTunes release.
Canty tweeted that his first single, “Won’t Make A Fool of You,” will hit iTunes next week.
Epic Records exec L.A. Reid, told reporters recently that Astro is in Miami hard at work on his debut album with several producers, including Pharrell.
Since the show ended, Astro has also been featured on Cher Lloyd’s “Want You Back” and appeared on CBS’ freshman drama, “Person of Interest.”
