At the age of 41, Tami Roman of the Basketball Wives franchise suffered a mild heart attack. It all started when Roman told her followers that she wasn’t feeling well. After no relief from her sickness, she checked herself into Cedar-Sinai Medical Center for a medical emergency in Los Angeles.
Once at the emergency room, doctors realized that she had suffered a mild heart attack caused by a blockage in her arteries. She spent the day in the hospital and underwent a number of tests. She was later discharged from the hospital with a prescription for heart medicine.
Tami checked back in with her followers, tweeting them about what happen an her plans to take some time off to rest.
One of the main reasons why Tami survived this ordeal is because she got to the hospital at the first sign of her having chest pains.
