According to Fox Baltimore, the city prepares to issue a two year plan that will revoke the liquor licenses of many small business liquor stores. Many of these stores were first granted licenses in the 1970s when zoning laws were different.
The two-year plan is an effort to cut down violence in parts of Baltimore’s most dangerous neighborhoods. Yet small business owners believe two years is an insufficient amount of time to make a cost effective transition. Watch the full video for more information.
