Professional Football Player Commits Suicide

    O.J. Murdock, who signed a professional football contract with The Tennesee Titans was found dead in his car with a gun shot wound to the head. The car was parked in front of his High School in Tampa , Florida.

    O.J. played one year of college ball at South Carolina State and then bounced around a few small colleges. He managed to get a try out for the Titans and was signed as an undrafted player.

    He was expected to return to training camp this week, but called the team to say he had personal things to work out, and would be delayed for a few days.

    He spent last season on the injured list.

    As a Sr. in High School he was ranked the 10th best reciever in the USA. But had other troubles. During his Sr. year, he was arrested for shop lifting.

    Police say the investigation is still ongoing but it appears to be a suicide. O.J. Murdock was 25.
