Floyd Mayweather To Be Released From Jail Friday

Boxing champion, Floyd Mayweather is due to be home from jail on Friday. Mayweather has been incarcerated at the Clark County Detention Center for the last two months after a plea deal on a domestic battery case.

Mayweather surrendered for jail June 1. He plead guilty in December to misdemeanor charges in a September 2010 scuffle with his ex-girlfriend, Josie Harris, while two of their children watched.

According to Las Vegas police Officer Jose Hernandez, Mayweather was granted time off his 90-day sentence for work and good behavior.

He plead guilty to avoid a trial on felony charges that could have gotten him up to 34 years in prison instead of 3 months jail time.
