It’s downhill for Chad. Yesterday, he was cut from the Miami Dolphins and today, VH1 announced that his reality series “Ev and Ocho” has also been cut – both due to his arrest for domestic violence.
Ochocinco was taken into custody and charged with domestic battery for hitting and head-butting his wife Evelyn Lozada of “Basketball Wives” fame.
The Dolphins organization, is currently being filmed for the HBO series “Hard Knocks,” (which Ochocinco appeared in) moved swiftly to cut him from the team following his arrest. Now VH1 scrapped the reality show, Eve and Ocho which was to premiere on Sept. 3 and chronicle the couple’s romance.
The network said in a statement released this afternoon, “Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev and Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it.”
