Kareem Abdul Jabbar, the all time leading scorer in pro basketball history is finaly getting a statue outside The Staple Center in L.A. where The Lakers play.
Kareem has been saying for several years now, that he considered it disrespectful to have put up a staute of Magic Johnson first . Even when they told him he would get one, he was not happy.
Kareem seems to be in a better mood about it these days. The statue is being made and an unveiling date will be announced soon.
