The Winds of Change Are Blowing At American Idol

Randy Jackson, the last original judge on the TV blockbuster, American Idol is moving on. Randy says he may accept their offer of becoming a “mentor” on the show. The job description for this title has yet to be published.

In addition, there will be 4 judges this year, with one of them being a country star. The producers wanted  to get  Kanye West  or P Diddy to join the judging crew.  But they just couldn’t make it worth their while.

Elsewhere in judging news, there really is a potential for sparks to fly this season. With Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey close to signing, they might have to have a referee as a one of the judges.
