It appears that tragedy solidly unifies Americans once a year on 9/11. To see your country partially destroyed and fellow country men attacked via live TV from around the world is and has been devastating. The lost of human life whether friends, love ones, husbands, wives, children and grand children is a deep painful emotion and a frightening reality.
The ability to embrace this type of invasion is the unification of all people for the purpose of one goal to heal and rebuild. But with so much hate and division among people along the lines of sex, race, political and religious beliefs we have become our own enemy. The same principles use to manipulate and enslave are applied everyday in today’s America.
However, on 9/11 something miraculously happens we become a melting pot of love … extending a hand to help another brother or sister regardless of who the are and where they’re from.
A little love goes a long way, the opportunity to do so has been most rewarding to receive while helping others achieve change.
