This morning on Good Morning America, Romney told host George Stephanopoulos, ‘‘No one can say my plan is going to raise taxes on middle-income people, because principle number one is to keep the burden down on middle-income taxpayers.

Stephanopoulos asked, ‘‘Is $100,000 middle income?”

Romney replied, ‘‘No, middle income is $200,000 to $250,000 and less.”  According to the AP, the average household income is around $50,000 per year.

His campaign later claim Mitt myth was referring to household income, not individual income. His campaign was like NO! WE MEAN FOR THE WHOLE HOUSE! They thought it would make Mitt Romney seem much more in tune with the struggles of the average American household.  Smh!
