More than a week ago tragedy struck the family of 55 year old Nancy Worrell who along with 4 grandchildren ranging in ages from 1 to 7 lost their lives in a 4 alarm two story row house fire on Denwood Avenue in northeast Baltimore. Over a thousand grief stricken family members, friends and other mourners gathered Thursday to memorialize the victims of the this fire that have devastated a family and it’s community.

Nancy Worrell leaves to mourn a husband of 27 years numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is still in serious condition, suffering from 3rd degree burns and a broken back at Bay View Hospital

Members of the family have expressed deep and sincere gratitude to the City of Baltimore that helped with money to offset funeral cost. Vaughn Greene Funeral Home who cared and carried the bodies. Also five burial plots were provided by Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
Magic 95.9 gives our deepest condolences to the many family members and friends during this most difficult time. Lost is never easy especially of this magnitude. But may spiritual comfort, loving memories bless you endlessly.
