What really happened in the case of a 15-year-old girl whose parents struggled with her behavioral problems? Well according to prosecutors in the court case of 27-year-old Shawn Edward Nowlin, the 15-year-old troubled teen was released from her parents to the custody of a grown ass man, who happens to represent the Baltimore School system in some type of capacity.
It was reported over the weekend by the parents of the young girl that she had become pregnant. Resulting in the arrest of 27-year-old Shawn Edward Nowlin. Facing charges of second-degree rape, sexual abuse of a minor and second degree assault. Bail has since been posted for Nowlin in the amount of $750,000.
“State police referred the case to the Harford County Child Advocacy Center, which investigates child crimes and is made up of Harford sheriff’s and state police detectives and prosecutors.”
