According to the Oprah Winfrey Network, Tuesday’s premiere of Tyler Perry’s “The Haves and The Have Nots” drew 1.77 million viewers, making it the highest rated series debut on OWN in history.
According to the Nielsen ratings, OWN premiered two back-to-back episodes of “The Haves and The Have Nots,” attracting 1.77 million total viewers for the premiere episode at 9 p.m., and building to over 1.8 million viewers for the second episode at 10 p.m.
“The Haves and the Have Nots” follows the complicated dynamic between the rich and powerful Cryer family and the hired help who work in their mansiont in Savannah, Georgia.
