Miami Heat ‘LeBron James’ is $30 million richer because of Apple‘s recent $3 billion purchase of Beats of Electronics. It is said to be the biggest equity cash payout for a professional athlete in history.
Appearently James got a profit of more than $30 million in cash and stock in the Beats sale. In 2008 in exchange for promoting its high-end headphone,s James struck a deal to get a small stake in the company . A deal for 1% of the company, earned him $11 million more than his Miami Heat salary.
