Ferguson protesters boycotting Black Friday staged a peaceful Mass Die In at the St. Louis Galleria Friday afternoon. Protest caused the mall to close. The Mall opened again two hours before closing time.
Protesters lay on the floor of the mall for four and a half minutes of silence to represent #MikeBrown‘s blood on the ground.
Police at the mall lined up along the stores, watched and let the protesters peacefully demonstrate. No arrests were made.
The movement was organized on social media using the hashtags #NotOneDime, #Blacklivesmatter and #Stlblackfriday
