A man with arrests for similar crimes on his record was arrested in Malaysia boarding a flight to Indonesia, with 95 snakes in his bag. The snakes were Boa Constricters. They are on the endangered species list.

The Intruders were one of the first groups to have big success recording the songs of Gamble & Huff. They formed the group in 1960 from 4 guys who grew up together in Philadelphia.

Some of their records crossed over to the Pop charts, and the Philly Sound was born.

With hits like”Cowboys To Girls”, “United”, “Together”, “Love is just like a Baseball game”, and others, The Intruders were major players in the record business. ” I’ll Always Love My Moma” is the definative Mothers Day Song

Sadly, the personal problems the members of the group were having, began to tear the group apart. Until lead singer Little Sonny committed suicide. He was replaced by Baltimorean Bobby Starr.

As the 70’s came in, the hits stopped coming and the original group disbanded, and all but one of the founding menbers died.

Today, the group continues to perform with it’s 2nd generation of members.

Happy Birthday to one of the funniest men in the nation, Comedian Katt Williams. The comedian/rapper/actor is celebrating his 37th birthday. In honor of his birthday, we would like to share with you some of his best on-stage performances. Enjoy!

You love his singing and ministering, but now, Pastor Marvin Sapp needs our prayers. Please stand in faith with the Praise 92.1 team and believe for complete healing and that this shall not return.

Earlier this year, Marvin Sapp was testifying of how his wife, MaLinda, was given a clean bill of health by doctors after being diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer in 2009. But now, those health concerns have resurfaced and Marvin Sapp is requesting intense, around-the-clock prayer.

Back in April of 2009 Marvin Sapp’s wife MaLinda went to the hospital after experiencing excruciating pain. At first, the two thought she likely had kidney stones. But according to Sapp, the doctors checked her and couldn’t find any stones. In a recent interview he explained, “But the pain wouldn’t leave, so they did some tests and came back to the room and told us it was stage four colon cancer.” Then, earlier this year, the doctors pronounced Mrs. Sapp Cancer-free.

But now, Sapp and the Lighthouse Full Life Center Church is requesting around-the-clock prayer for MaLinda. Apparently, the couple has received discouraging news from the doctor that is causing some concern. So please keep the Sapp family in your prayers.–

Food and Water

At the beginning of Hurricane Season, stockpile a closet or cabinet in you kitchen or garage with at least 3 days’ worth of nonperishable food items and bottled water for you and your family. Figure on each person requiring 1 gallon of water per day, and opt for foods that require no refrigeration or cooking. Granola bars, power bars, peanut butter, crackers, and canned goods (like fruits, vegetables, and meat) are smart choices because they’ll provide you with a little variety, but won’t run the risk of spoiling. Keeping disposable cups, dishes and utensils on hand is also a good idea, so you’ll always have clean eating utensils, even if you’re unable to wash dishes.

Sanitation Supplies

Before the storm hits, make sure that you’re more than adequately stocked up on both personal and household sanitation supplies, like alcohol-based hand sanitizer, soaps and liquid detergents, toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, disinfectant, chlorine bleach, and plenty of heavy-duty garbage bags.

Clean Laundry

You never know what post-hurricane conditions may be, and if you’re without power or your water supply is contaminated, washing clothes may not be an option. If it’s at all possible, take some time during the pre-hurricane craziness to do as much laundry as possible, so that you have plenty of clean clothing, towels and bedding to last you at least several days.

First Aid Kit

Be ready for everything from cuts and scrapes to sprains and insect bites by having a fully-loaded first aid kit on hand. Must-have items include adhesive bandages, gauze, medical tape, tweezers, alcohol wipes, antibiotic ointment, burn gel, hydrocortisone cream, and even wrap-style bandages to provide support for injured ankles or wrists.

Prescription Medicines

If you or a family member is living with a health condition that requires daily prescription medication, make sure that you have enough doses on hand to last you through the storm and up to a week of possible pharmacy downtime afterward. Also, remember to check your supply of occasional-use medicines like asthma inhalers, antihistamines and pain relievers/fever reducers; having an adequate supply of these can help prevent minor medical issues from flaring into full-blown emergencies when a trip to the doctor may not be an option.

As soon as the power goes out, the first thing you’ll be reaching for is a flashlight, so make sure to have several on hand to cover all (or at least most) of the members of your household. Jazmine Sullivan has been in the headlines a lot in the past few days with releasing the remix to “Holding You Down (Goin’ In Circles)” featuring Mary J. Blige and Monday she premiered the video to “Holding You Down (Goin’ In Circles)” on 106&Park. She’s currently on a six city promotional tour talking about her new album Love Me Back, set to be released later this fall as well as going on tour with Mary J. Blige and El DeBarge. Kendal Langford was  on his hands and knees after practice with his Miami Dolphins yesterday.

Apparently he forgot to remove a diamond earring before practice and lost it out on the practice feild.

At 2.5 karots ,  it’s value is estimated at $50,000 !

The President and First Lady are raising their Daughters away from the press, and away from TV and computers too.

They are not allowed to watch TV during the week, and can only use a computer for homework.

They get an allowance but no one is saying how much.

Also there’s talk of letting them earn some money the old fashioned way, by babysitting.  But just how they could work that out remains to be seen.
