One of my male colleagues shared this video on his facebook page and I could not resist. As an independent, educated, prideful but single young black woman I still can’t figure out what the deal is as far as my relationship status goes. Are my standards too high? Am I too picky? Why do I keep gravitating toward Mr. Wrong instead of Mr. Right?

Many of my college buddies and close friends are either married, engaged or in a relationship for at least a year. Trust me, I am in no means desperate to get married. I am currently dating and enjoy it. I know I’m a great catch and an amazing woman. But this video surely taught me a few things and hopefully it wil do the same for you as well. I personally have an issue with the word “submit.” I would never consider “submitting” to any man. This video taught me to surrender and not submit. Watch for more tips…
