The Baltimore premiere of the award winning film Gospel Hill this Saturday.
Written and co-produced by two Baltimore IATSE 487 members Jeff Stacy and Jeffrey Pratt Gordon. The film stars Samuel L. Jackson, Angela Bassett, Danny Glover, Julia Stiles, Adam Baldwin, Nia Long, Taylor Kitsch and The RZA. It is the directorial debut of actor Giancarlo Esposito who also co-stars.

Since February of this year, the film has been traveling the festival circuit taking home nine awards including: 5 awards for Best Feature Film, Best Director and a Producers Award.Residents of the neighborhood of Gospel Hill, in the southern town of Julia, are being forced out of their homes to make way for a new multimillion-dollar development. Race relations are strained similar to thirty years ago when a black civil rights activist was assassinated. The lives of the characters intertwine as they touch on issues of race, eminent domain, and the power of the human spirit to overcome the pain and hatred of division.
