A company called Terrafugia has develpoed a FAA approved Flying Car. It’s a two seater that burns regular gas. It will fly at 115 MPH for 450 miles, or fold up the wings and roll along at 65 MPH on the ground. It requires 20 hours of flight instruction. It sports a price tag of $ 194,000.
The car converts to flying mode in less than a minute.
