The couple’s Overbrook Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television are partnering with Cowell’s SYCO Entertainment to launch the format, which according to The Hollywood Reporter is expected to be shopped internationally and domestically.

Cowell said, “DJ’s are the new rock stars, it feels like the right time to make this show.”

He tweeted, “Excited to announce new DJ show. I will NOT be judging this show. Excited to be working with @jadapsmith. Stay tuned!”

As a single woman, I am truly happy for Chrissy. She represents the strong, loyal, determined BLACK women who stand by their men through thick and thin and demand for a man to do right by them. Chrissy has been throwing hints to her rapper beau Jim Jones for years. She even took the initiative and proposed to him FIRST! VH1 in a statement announced the premiere of its new reality series “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle” on Dec. 5, at 9 p.m. ET.

Viewers will get a look at private moments of  T.I. as he is reunited with his wife, Tameka (a.k.a Tiny), and his children after he completed a 12 month prison sentence.

The new reality series follows the Grammy-winning artist life as a father, husband, son, musician, apparel magnate, businessman, actor and best-selling author (Power & Beauty).

The series shows the loving and fascinating relationship between T.I. and his wife Tameka, who has faithfully stood by T.I.’s side through his highs and lows. Tameka was a member of the ’90s Grammy-winning pop group Xscape. She is the mother of two of T.I.’s children and has her own fifteen-year-old daughter. Tameka held the family together while T.I. was behind bars.

Viewers will be introduced to a new up-and-coming pop group, the OMG GIRLZ, managed by Tameka.

Bobby Brown is planning to document the New Edition comeback with a new reality show. He says the effort has long been prayed for and it looks like it’s all manifesting itself.

In a statement to Hustler magazine:

“We have a conference call every Sunday. We’re putting it (band) back together. “I think the thing that was missing with us was prayer – us being able to pray together and understand our differences. I think that’s what made us fight so much”.

“Our friendship was lost once the business of being in the band exploded. We’re now working at becoming friends again and getting back together next year for a tour and an album. And maybe a television show.”

The network began filming the couple in January for a show tentatively titled “La La’s Full Court Life,” a follow-up to last fall’s five-episode wedding special, “La La’s Full Court Wedding,” which documented the duo’s July 2010 nuptials.

Scheduled to premiere in August is the new 10-episode series.

“Viewers connect with La La because despite the fairy-tale wedding and NBA star husband, she is a real, down-to-earth, hardworking woman who stays true to herself,” Jeff Olde, EVP of Original Programming and Production at VH1, told the Post. “The best thing about the new series is that while pursuing and realizing her dreams, La La gets to take us back to her home in New York, where her story began.”

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — A producer of “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” reality series is listed in an application seeking film production tax credits from the state.

The heavily redacted 2010 document names Maria Baltazzi as executive producer of the unidentified production.

The Alaska Film Office does not disclose specifics about productions seeking tax credits until final approval. The Palin show, which debuted in November, is not among those listed as approved by the office.

If the Palin series tapped into the tax credit program, it would mean the show would retroactively be subsidized by the state.

Baltazzi is credited in filmographies as a producer of three episodes in the eight-part TLC show featuring Palin, a former Alaska governor and the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee. The series was produced by Mark Burnett of “Survivor” reality TV show fame. The series concluded in January, and a representative for the cable channel has said it was always intended to air for a single season only.

Baltazzi told The Associated Press on Thursday that she worked on the series, and said it was the first time in years she’s worked in Alaska. But she referred all other questions to Burnett’s office, which did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The series attracted an average of more than 3 million viewers per episode and debuted with an audience of nearly 5 million people – a record premiere for TLC. The show concluded in early January.

The series showed Palin and her family having various adventures in their home state.

It also generated some controversy.

In one episode, Palin shot a caribou, prompting screenwriter Aaron Sorkin to call her a “witless bully.” In another episode, Palin and her family commented about author Joe McGinniss, a temporary next-door neighbor who the Palins said intruded on their privacy to work on a book.

Palin also was criticized for allowing her family to fish close to bears and for presenting the 49th state in a way only the wealthy could experience.

Alaska’s fairly new film office offers incentives including a 30 percent tax credit to qualifying productions filming in the state. Added incentives for Alaska hires, as well as offseason and rural shoots, boost credits to a maximum of 44 percent. The program is open to any production that spends at least $100,000 in Alaska.

The History Channel’s “Ice Road Truckers,” for example, spent nearly $3.9 million in the state for two seasons, earning almost $1.3 million in incentives, according to film office figures.

The two now reside in the suburbs of Boston and live, for the most part, a normal life.

Nikki Alexander was first introduced to the world as Hoopz in Vh1′s hit reality show, Flavor of Love Season 1 where she competed for the affection of Flavor Flav and won. She then went on to compete against other Vh1 realty stars in another Vh1 reality show, For the Love of Money Season 1, where she won $250,000. As you can see, Hoopz is no stranger to reality TV, and she is currently gearing up for her own reality show where cameras will follow her around in her suburban home as she embarks on her newest journey into the athletic training field.  Aspiring to become a women’s health and self-defense guru, she is already working with her production team.

When the couple is not watching television, playing games or challenging each other to fun competitions, you can catch Hoopz at all of the Boston Celtic’s home games, cheering on her boo and geering up for her new reality show!

Previously reported as being in development at the network, EW is reporting that “The Dance Scene” has received a series greenlight.

Eight episodes of the half-hour show will follow Gibson as she trains and leads a team of ambitious assistant choreographers and dancers as they prepare to work with high-profile stars.

“The competitive world of the professional dancer is grueling creative work,” says Lisa Berger, executive vice president of programming at E! “Watching Laurieann mentor these young artists, who will do anything to make it in the business, gives us a glimpse into a world where the pursuit of success and excellence outweighs all else.”

For 15 years, Gibson has worked with a wide array of artists and has choreographed Lady Gaga’s music videos and her recent world tour. She was also a “Fly Girl” on the Fox series “In Living Color” and was most recently a judge on ABC’s “Skating With the Stars.”

“Dance is at the center of pop culture — today more than ever — and Laurieann is an amazing force accelerating this huge wave of creativity,” Seacrest says. “This series gives audiences an insider’s view of how competitive the dance world is, the talent and ambition that a dancer needs to be successful in the Hollywood scene, and the drama that ensues along the way.”

The series debuts April 10.
