Woman In Saudi Arabia Executed For “Sorcery”

The religious police, who arrested her in 2009, confirmed only that an execution took place, and that the woman was found guilty of charging people $800 for her services. She claimed she could heal the sick. Her name and any other information about her crime have been withheld.
Sorcery is against Saudi law, but death is not the only penalty available .
Other punishments include what the Saudi’s call a lashing and imprisonment.
