TV One has one of the hottest shows going. It”s called “Unsung” , and it debuts it’s newsest season tonight with a profile of Sly Stone.
I’ve always felt the show is not correctly named. “Unung” , to me , indicates that it would deal with artists that never got their due. Not the case with Sly.
A lot of peole have said Sly and the Family Stone inspired Earth, Wind, and Fire. Truth is, Sly and crew influenced almost everybody.
There has been a lot of talk lately about Sly falling on Hard times.
Sly is 68 years old and we will watch tonight and remember those days when we had hot fun in the summertime.
