The most famous class room since “To Sir With love”, has lost another student. Actor Ron Palillo who played Horshack has died.
Ron was found dead in his home by his life partner this morning. He was a smoker and had developed a heavy cough. He had made a Doctor’s appointment, but never got to go.
Ron’s character was just one of several Quirky students on the TV show “Welcome Back Kotter”, and he is the 2nd one from the cast to die. About a year ago, the actor who played Epstein died.
“Welcome Back Kotter” is best known as the launching pad for the career of John Travolta, who played a character named Vinny.
