Iowa State Basketball star, Royce White, has a phobia that he ‘ll have to deal with but quick. He has “fear of flying anxiety”.
It is almost impossible for him to fly, despite a professional counselor . In college , he was able to get around it most of the time by getting special permission to take a bus and leave days early.
Now he’s in the NBA, drafted by the Houston Rockets and the problem has already reared it’s ugly head. He missed several days of training camp because he wouldnt get on a plane. Yep, he’s making millions, and he was late for his first day at work.
We wish him the best. Fear of flying is a legitimate health problem, but so is being broke.
