Nicki Minaj talks about the kind of talent you can to expect to see audition in the coming weeks of “American Idol.”
Nicki said, “We’re starting to hear a lot of big soul singers. Lots of acoustic kids too, but I’ve really been impressed by the soul singers and I’ve been impressed by some of the country vocals as well. So, it’s going to be a really intense competition because they’re really good.”
Tonight’s episode features more bickering between Minaj and fellow judge Mariah Carey, but Nicki feels it’s all good at the end of the day.
She say’s, “We’re having a lot of fun and that’s really the honest truth. We’re having a lot of fun up there on that panel. And I think that everyone has sort of melted back into who they are, and no one’s here trying to [be] better or bigger than – you know. We’re just like, ‘Let’s do it, it’s a job.’ It’s actually something that we’re having fun doing, and so we don’t have a problem.”
