Two of the largest cruise ship companies have cut their trips short and returned back to dock after passengers and crew fell sick. Those abroad reported symptoms consistent with norovirus which produces vomiting and diarrhea. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data show this is the highest number of sick people reported on any cruise ship in two decades.
