There is nothing more frightening for a parent than to hear that their child has a life-threatening illness. At St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, there is hope for these parents and their kids. The hospital has been a place where families can receive free care since comedian/entertainer Danny Thomas founded it over fifty years ago.

The hospital has helped improve survival rates for pediatric cancer from 20 to 80% and developed a treatment for sickle cell anemia, an illness that affects African-American children.

St. Jude is the first and only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children.

“Every day children face battles they shouldn’t have to fight,” says Tom Joyner, who has visited St. Jude’s and seen firsthand the incredible work they do. “But they shouldn’t have to face it alone. We can walk beside them. You can help children live by becoming a St. Jude’s Partner in Hope.”

With your support, St. Jude’s can continue their important work saving the lives of children who are suffering with potentially fatal illnesses. Support St. Jude’s by donating today. You can call 800-411-9898 to help families and children who truly need it.
