The Maryland General Assembly will come to a close at midnight. Several laws are set to pass. Two big ones are the raising of the minimum wage to $10.10 by 2018 and decriminalization of marijuana. Lawmakers are expected to approve hundreds of bills. Any bill that doesn’t pass both the House and Senate by midnight will be considered dead, and will have to be introduced again next year.
So here’s our Magic Facebook Question of the day:
Is the raising of the minimum wage a little too late or is it right on time?
