Should you share all your money in a marriage/ long-term relationship or are side accounts allowed?

- I have several places in the house where I keep some mad money,,,just in case,,,
- I think we should maintain our individuality to a degree and that includes financially.
- My wife handles all the bills. I get paid and she gives me my own money…Like an allowance. Kinda childish but I’m no good at managing money and she is great. Swallowed my ego and watched her handle our business.

- joint checking & savings for household things and then we both have separate accounts for our own personal expenses i.e. Shoes, clothes etc.
- Side accounts are okay as long as it’s discussed with your SO and the bills are paid.
