I have known Lois Campbell since I was 16 and she is truly the fabric that holds the family together. I am now 44 and I have never known someone so loving, caring, and eager to do for others.
She baby sits at a moment’s notice, transports grandchildren to sporting practices, walks family pets, picks up any of her grand-kids from school if needed and she will make you a cake if she knows it’s your birthday.
Lois retired from the school district after 26 years as a data processor entering grades & attendance records. She has never taken any time for herself, especially after taking both her parents into her home until the good lord called them home.
As stated, she is my mother-in-law, but she has always treated me as a son even before I married her daughter.
This woman has encouraged me to be the best man that I can be in life. You see, I lost my mom at a young age, so I look up to her as a mother.
That is why I would like to nominate Lois for the “Thursday morning mom-in-law.” I do know that she wants to buy a couple of new furnishings for her home and maybe add a new piece of “bling” to her jewelry collection.
