A Colin Kaepernick impersonator appeared on FOX 1’s with Jason Whitlock a little while ago.

Later it was revealed that rapper-actor Kid from Kid ‘n Play was the one dressed as Kaepernick.

When people on Twitter found out they were outraged, now weeks later Kid wants to speak about his actions.

According to OkayPlayer, Kid said, “Let me be clear: the skit and photo were not meant to disrespect Colin’s message or political stance…Rather, we wanted to spoof the media’s treatment of him and the circus that has been created…Anyone who knows me knows where I stand on Colin Kaepernick–exactly where he stands.”

While it’s great that Kid apologized for his actions many still didn’t agree with what he did.
