Bernie Casey was known for many roles, but fans remember him most for “I’m Gonna Git You Sucka” and “Revenge of the Nerds.” According to MSN a rep for the late actor confirmed his death.

Casey had been ill for several days and was in the hospital surrounded by family members. He was not only an amazing actor, but he was a record-breaking track and field athlete as well as a NFL wide-receiver for eight seasons and went to the Pro Bowl.
Over the years he had so many accomplishments including acting in multiple films and television roles as well as publishing a book of his poetry. Bernie Casey will be missed and we will keep his family and friends in our prayers.
