Can’t lie, the jokes are absolutely hilarious–but if you’ve ever actually flown Spirit you probably know that it’s not really that bad.
The flights are so much cheaper than other airlines like JetBlue or Delta because they strip their flights to the bare minimum: No food, no entertainment, no WiFi…but you do still get a seat on the plane, you just have to pay extra for it.
For anyone out there really wondering if Spirit is worth it to save some money, it’s not like there’s a higher probability of dying on Spirit vs. any other airlines–which is a good sign, right?
So, no, you don’t actually have to pitch in for gas money or fly the plane yourself when you travel with Spirit, but let’s be honest, that doesn’t make the jokes any less funny.
The moral of the story? The internet doesn’t care about whether or not a joke is true as long as it’s funny. Like Desus and Mero always say: facts don’t matter.
