THE BUZZ!

Let’s hit the road and take it to Alabama where authorities are investigating the heartbreaking death of 3-year-old kid, who was left in a hot car for hours. It gets even crazier to learn that the person responsible was a contract worker for the state’s child protective services.

Now the kid was picked up by this person at 9am for a court-ordered visit with his dad. That visit ended about 11:30 a.m. And instead of taking the kid back to the daycare. They went and ran errands. And after that they went home and left the kid in the car for hours.

According to the medical examiner’s office, the child was left alone in the vehicle between 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

The temperature that day was 96 degrees.

That worker is in custody and has been terminated .
