No one seems to know where these things get started, but once in a while an internet prankster comes up with an invented news story that morphs into a viral news alert. Such was the case yesterday as someone’s idea of a joke went viral. The news flash was that superstar Usher had died in a car crash. The message was accompanied by a picture of a wrecked car.
Soon, people who were in touch with Usher began to tweet that it was a hoax and put his legions of fans at ease.
