This past weekend I went to Washingtion DC and took in the sights at the National Mall. The first thing that becomes evident is that one day is no where near enough time. You can barely tour The Smithsonian in one day. Then there’s the Holocaust Museum, The MLK Monument, The Washington Monument, The Lincoln Monument, The Jefferson Monument, The Vietnam Memorial, Arlington Cemetary, The White House and thats not even half of it, and it’s all free !!! Everyone should spend a weekend in DC doing the tourist thing. But those of us who live here have no excuse.
