Sources say Beyoncé did not experience a full-term pregnancy and the twins have been in the hospital for the last week due to a “minor issue.” By being “under the lights,” it usually means that the babies have jaundice (a yellowish tent to the skin) because of elevated bilirubin levels. The lights are supposed to lower bilirubin in the blood so the jaundice can be eliminated. Jaundice is common among premature babies and is usually not dangerous.
