The Music/Jazz icon and legend of go-go, Chuck Brown, who helped to make the chocolate most known for its go-go music a unique flavor of jazz, funk, soul, dance hall and a twist of hip hop. The Godfather of Go-Go will soon have a pavilion named in his honor in the Nations Capitol Washington DC, his hometown.

The wood and stainless steel $1 million pavilion will be constructed in northeast DC at Langdon Park. The structure will intimately seat 900 concert goers, surrounded by magnolia trees and evergreen.
A history tower of Chuck Brown’s accomplishments will also be housed there. The venue is scheduled to open this summer.
