According to Nielsen, “The Voice” premiere had 3.4 million viewers, out-performing cycle 3’s premiere by 12 percent.
New judges Usher and Shakirah replace Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera and are credited to bringing in fan favorites.
“The Voice” had been suffering for a big rise in ratings, especially after being on hiatus since Dec.
