OWN’s season finale of “The Haves and the Have Nots” on Tuesday set a network record with 3.6 million total viewers, according to Nielsen, ranking the Tyler Perry soap as the No. 1 telecast in OWN history among total viewers.
In the key female demo, the episode was the No. 1 telecast on cable Tuesday and No. 4 in all of television.
OWN stated, ” The season finale grew double digits, up 38% in total viewers and 24% in W25-54 vs. the prior season finale”.
“The Haves and the Have Nots,” produced for OWN by Tyler Perry Studios, follows the complicated dynamic between the rich and powerful Cryer family and the hired help who work in their mansion in Savannah, Georgia.
