President Obama 0In a speech in Kansas City Wednesday, President Obama said to the republican before their month-long summer, “Stop being mad all the time. Stop just hating all the time. Come on.”  The president accused Republicans of choosing political stunts to undermine him instead of taking action on immigration, transportation spending and tax reform.

Republicans were planning to push a bill through the House authorizing a lawsuit against the President. They accused him of exceeding his powers in enforcing his health care law. President Obama said, “I know they’re not that happy that I’m president. I’ve only got a couple of years left. Come on, let’s get some work done. Then you can be mad at the next president.”

The president was optimistic about the improving U.S. economy. He said, “We hold the best cards. Things are getting better. The decisions we make now could make things even better than that.” President Obama said he was glad that stock markets and corporate profits were booming.
