I grew up on horror movies. It was my fave thing to do with my dad growing up and todday he takes my son to see the latest scary movies. So Halloween night we decided to stay in and watch a few classic horror films. We chose “Children of the Corn” and it was fabulous when I was a kid, but it was just okay last night.
Tell me about the movies that were great when you were a kid, but horrible now that you are an adult?
- Pretty much all of them before I studied film in college. LOL
- Still afraid to watch Children of the Corn, It, and Poltergeist….I am afraid of clowns
- Purple Rain was great, but watched it the other day and thought it was STUPID
- The Exorcist is horrible. Watched on regular TV and they cut everything out and it just seemed silly
- Krush Groove, Beat Street and all of those movies … the clothes and the story was the worst, but you couldn’t keep me out of the movies when they came out
