Boxer Floyd Mayweather, 37, was denied entry to Australia because of his history of domestic violence. His visa was denied just hours before he and his 30-person entourage were about to board a private plane to appear at two expensive dinner events on Thursday and Friday in Australia.
According to The Herald, Mayweather’s publicist, Max Markson, said he plans to appeal the decision, which could have financial repercussions for Mayweather’s team. Refunds are being made available for attendees who request them.
