Three Montgomery County, MD high schools are adapting their graduation gowns for transgender graduates.
Previously males and females wore different color graduation gowns at Demascus, Sherwood, and Walter Johnson high schools. All three schools are shifting to all students wearing the same color robe. Five other schools are signing on to change their cap and gown policies next year.
