Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was called for jury duty in New York City and plans to report to the State Supreme Court in Manhattan on Monday. Though most of us dislike jury duty, Trump says he’s “looking forward to it” because he thinks “it’s fun.” [E! Online]

This past Saturday, over 1,000 people went to pay their respects to Christian Taylor, the unarmed burglary suspect who was shot and killed by an Arlington police officer one week ago. Christian was a “standout” college football player and many of his teammates were at his funeral. A family friend declared, “This is a day of celebration.” May Christian rest in peace. [USAToday]

31-year-old Brian Martin, the man who “plunged” off a NYC building while being chased by plainclothes officers, has been awarded $4.15 million by a Brooklyn jury. Martin argued that the cops deliberately made him fall, claiming an officer “banged” on his right hand, which caused him to lose his grip as he held onto the building’s ledge.
