The Theme of Essence’s 6th Annual Black Women in Hollywood is Power Of Our Presence.  Imagine being in a room filled with beautiful back women talented in their own right and feeling the power of their presence. Essence honorees are Oprah Winfrey, Alfrie Woodard, Gabrielle Union, Mara Brock-Akil, Naomi Harris, and nine-year old Quvenzhane Wallis who is the youngest actor in history to receive an Academy Award nomination.
