“American Idol” contestant Jermaine Jones was booted off the show because he did not reveal to the show’s staff that he has outstanding warrants. But the singer was let off the hook by local police because his legal issues weren’t serious.
Warrants were issued for his arrest because he gave police a false name … twice and failed to appear in court.
Jones is in California now and the New Jersey township police have more serious offenses to deal with.
