Season 1 of the hit VH1 hit reality show, “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” is over and Memphitz has filed a federal  lawsuit against K. Michelle’s, Viacom International, Inc., NFGTV, Inc., Monami Entertainment, LLC and Mona Scott, for slander of his character.

K. Michelle spoke often on the show about her struggles in the music industry; and pointed fingers at those who gave hergrief.

She didn’t mention Mickey “Memphitz” Wright( by name) as the music executive that beat her but insinuated it was him who she was signed to by Jive Records; which is under Memphitz’s “Hitz Committee” imprint.

Memphitz denies the accusations and maintain his innocence and issued the following statement,

“My family and I have suffered tremendously while VH-1, Monami Ent., and the  other companies provided a worldwide platform for K. Michelle to repeatedly  assassinate my character,” says Memphitz. “The filing of this suit is to  compensate for the irreparable damage that has been done to my reputation, and  to deter these companies from doing such future harm to others.”

Memphitz says the new lawsuit is not about revenge, it’s about  defending his professional reputation from the malicious false and misleading  statements made on the show.

Wright is suing for approximately one dollar per viewer, per show, for damages that stem from the defamatory  statements and denigrating actions of cast member Kimberly Michelle Pate a/k/a “K. Michelle.”

Memphitz’s attorney, Conti J. Moore, Esq .said, “Ms. Pate has taken full advantage of society’s tendency to accept claims of  domestic violence as always being true, even in the absence of proof. The only  abuse that actually occurred is the malicious and calculated pattern of vicious  lies Ms. Pate has assailed for the purpose of fabricating a compelling story  line attempting to ruin my client’s name.”
