I did and that Bobby Kristina  is going to need a lot of prayer.

Whitney Houston’s death impacted people around the world, but the new reality series “The Houstons: On Our Own” chronicles the toll it took on her immediate family. Whitney’s brother Gary, his wife Pat (who was also Whitney’s manager), their teen daughter, Whitney’s mother, Cissy, and, of course, 19-year-old Bobbi Kristina. As well as her relationship with Nick Gordon.  Her boyfriend/the guy who was raised alongside her as a brother.

Bobbi Kristina was also a major storyline in the premiere. Losing a mother at any age is difficult, but Krissy — Bobbi Kristina’s nickname — was still a teenager when Houston suddenly passed away. The new series followed her first trip to see her mother’s tombstone in the cemetery, which proved very emotional.

But, like many young people, Krissy wasn’t prepared to deal with those emotions, and in the first episode she was seen drinking wine back at the house during a family dinner. Her aunt didn’t approve, but tried to be there for her niece.

Some critics called the series intrusive and everyone seemed to agree that Whitney’s death was far too fresh in our minds to watch the family members she left behind in their intimate moments, which included a visit to the singer’s grave.

What do you think is the reality to soon?

“The Houstons: On Their Own,” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
